The photo's do not do justice to the beautiful fabric...it just sparkles in the sunshine or arena lights. The fabric has metallic threads running through it. The robe is completely lined with metallic silver lame', and is trimmed with lots of metallic silver braid and aqua, teal, and silver sequins. the blanket, crouper, and crown piece have two layers of silky chainette fringe in black and teal, and topped with dangling silver coins. This costume is breath taking in person. It would be absolutely stunning on a grey horse.
As you can see this costume is almost done. I need to add some clear stones, and finish the bridle, etc.. I also have the rider's shirt and pants left to make....can't decide on Aqua or white.
