CinaBara Costumes is located in the southern part of Missouri, in the Ozarks.

The owners, designers, and laborers consist of just two good friends, Cindy Cartwright and Barbara Finch. While we are no spring chickens, we only met less than 10 years ago at a local Art League meeting. There we found we had many things in common.....first of all, neither of us were native to Missouri. Cindy from California, and Barbara from Wyoming. But that was the tip of the iceburg. We both have owned/bred/shown and loved Arabian horses for most of our lives, straight Egyptians in particular. We both have sewn since young girls. We are both very creative and love art. Barbara is well known internationally for her paintings and sculptures, while I just dable in both.

Then we discovered one more thing....that we both had been making Arabian Horse costumes for many, many years, and each had boxes and boxes of gorgeous fabrics and trims that we had collected over the years....always meaning to make just that perfect costume for ourselves. Well you all know how time gets in the way of doing what you really want to do....so we decided to finally put all that fabric to use, making beautiful costumes....now we can't stop....so many in our heads left to do. And of course we never stop buying materials.....can't pass up a gorgeous piece of fabric or what we feel would be a perfect embellishment on a bridle......

The next logical step, start our own Arabian Horse Costume business of course....
